Springfield M1As

I have not fired a rifle for a couple of months due to weather, family commitments, and pistol shooting. Two weeks ago I decided to shoot my M1A standard and my M1A Socom. The M1s are terrific rifles and very reliable. They are the only rifles chambered in 308 that I don’t have a scope. I shoot pretty well at 150 yards, but at 200 yards I have a problem with smaller targets. I am okay with 16 and 8-inch steel. I hate the the thought of installing a scope on an M1A, but I think that I will buy a Scout scope for my Socom. It’s not easy being an old guy.
