The Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 380 is a sub-compact concealed carry pistol that has some pros and cons. Pros (1) Pocket or purse pistol. (2) My Bodyguard has a laser sight. (3) Very inexpensive. (4) Smith and Wesson quality. (5) Moderate recoil. Cons (1) Accuracy is okay at 21 feet, beyond that distance not very good. (2) The pistol has a single purpose of concealed carry. The Bodyguard is definitely not a home protection gun. (3) I don’t care for the trigger. (4) The slide is stiff for some older people and anyone who has a strength problem with their hands. My opinions are probably in the minority. The Bodyguard has been a very popular concealed carry pistol. I carry a Ruger LCP in a pocket holster in the summer or going to some local destination in Batesville because I think the trigger is so much better, and in my opinion, that improves the accuracy. I posted a target that I shot rapid fire at 30 feet without using the laser. I should have shot at 21 feet because that is a normal range for this type of pistol and there would be a tighter group. I posted some videos from You Tube in case anyone is interested in a sub-compact pistol.
