Sig Sauer P227 45ACP

Before I review the Sig, I want to thank my grandson Robbie’s girl friend Monica and the Baddish Group for sending to me a bottle of Four Roses yellow label bourbon. Monica was part of my Walther PPQ review on January, 24th. I was pleasantly surprised with the gift and I normally do not drink an 80 proof bourbon. Nice, relatively smooth whiskey. I do not drink mixed drinks and I think this Four Roses bourbon is more at home used as a cocktail whiskey. Their single barrel and small batch are wonderful whiskeys and should be enjoyed neat or on the rocks. Thanks again

The Sig Sauer P227 is another great semi-automatic pistol in a very crowded market. I like the grips, the sights, and the superb build quality. The P227 has a double stack magazine and holds 10 rounds plus one in the chamber. This is one of the most enjoyable 45ACP pistols to shoot on the range that I own. Modest recoil and extremely accurate. I posted a photo of the target that I was shooting rapid fire at 25 feet. There is also a video posted from You Tube by Hickok45 that is very informative and entertaining. The only take away from the P227 is the price, but you have to pay for quality.
