Sig manufactures great pistols and rifles, and they are a little pricy. The P220 was introduced in 1976 and is still a popular choice. I believe that I purchased mine about five years ago. Through the years, Sig has made some changes. My P220 is a single stack magazine that holds seven rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber. The P220s today have eight round magazines. The sights are good, the trigger is good , not great. Nice grip and good accuracy. I have never had a malfunction of any kind with any of my Sigs. The P220, in my opinion, is too big for concealed carry, and I would rather have a larger capacity magazine for home protection. Great stopping power, fun to shoot, but, in my opinion too many other options in the marketplace. I posted a target that I shot rapid fire at thirty feet, and a five year old video by Hickok45 that I think is informative and entertaining.
