I have a Ruger Single Six Convertible that purchased 45 to 47 years ago and it is still looks new. This is a great revolver for a first time or an experienced shooter. It has adjustable front and rear sights and is very accurate with either the 22 LR or 22 Magnum. The finish and the walnut grips are excellent quality. The newer single six models manufactured in the early seventies have a safety block so you can load six rounds without a possible discharge. This model by Ruger has been in continuous production since 1953 with a few changes along the way. Before you buy a new Single Six Convertible for around $600.00, read my upcoming review on the Heritage Rough Rider.I posted a couple of You Tube reviews.
