I wanted to revisit this review from 2018 because this is really a great rifle with an excellent scope, fun to shoot, and very accurate up to 200 yards.
I recently purchased a Ruger Precision Rifle chambered in 22LR with a Hawke Vantage 3X9X40 with a BDC(bullet drop compensator)for 22LR. I have the Precision Rifle chambered in a 308Win and it is incredibly accurate. I have several 22LR rifles and pistols but shooting beyond fifty yards is a challenge. At 200 yards a 22LR trajectory drops over 3 feet, so in order to hit a target, you have to shoot three feet above the target to hit it. With a BDC scope, you zero at fifty yards and use the reticle scale to hit the target. I plan on teaching my grandchildren to shoot at two hundred yards with this Ruger. I posted a great video by Plinkster22.
