Ruger 22/45 Lite

I finally had a nice day to shoot my Ruger 22/45 Lite! It’s an excellent pistol in a very crowded field of great 22LR pistols and revolvers. I should have purchased a more expensive optic. The Monstrom red/green dot optic was $49.00 and, for the money, is okay. I have the same optic on a Smith and Wesson Victory. I have several 22LR pistols that I am going to compare against the 22/45 Lite. The comparison will be my opinion and I know it certainly is not meant to be the right one for everyone. I will use only CCI ammo while making comparisons. I never have misfires with CCI ammo, but some of the other brands are not as reliable with a variety of pistols. I will grade each pistol on a ten-point system in eleven categories starting today with the 22/45 Lite. Factory sights (8) Trigger (7) Fit and Finish (8) Grips (8) Accuracy (8) Ease of cleaning (10) Reliability (9) Fun to shoot (10) Magazines (10) Brand confidence (10) Price (8) Total 96 points! The next test will be the Browning Buck Mark.
