Revisiting Walther PPQ

I posted a review on the Walther PPQ on December 30th and, since then, I have added a Crimson Trace Green laser to the pistol. I   have posted in previous reviews about my favorable opinion of laser sights and I thought it would be interesting to have a little experiment. Saturday my grandson Robbie and his girl friend Monica visited my wife and me. The purpose of the visit was to shoot and Monica is a college student in Manhattan who has never been around guns. Saturday was Robbie’s third time shooting. The importance of gun safety was the first topic. Next was sighting, stance, trigger finger position, and squeezing the trigger. We started with a S&W Victory 22 and Monica did quite well. The PPQ with the laser was pretty amazing from 25 feet. I posted photos of the targets. The first target was Monica shooting the Victory and the bottom target was the PPQ. The next target was Robbie shooting with the PPQ. It was a very enjoyable afternoon and I am sure that Monica will have an interesting conversation with her parents about her range time. By the way, she also enjoyed shooting an AR15 and was not intimidated .
