I wanted to update my review for this excellent pistol. I recently fired about one hundred rounds and the trigger seems to get better every time that I shoot the CZ. I highly recommend the CZ for home protection.
The CZ 75 is an excellent 9 mm semi-automatic pistol. The 9 mm handgun field has so many great choices for quality pistols that it is very difficult to have a favorite. There are several versions of the CZ 75 compact and the model that I have is all steel. In my opinion it is too big and heavy for concealed carry. This pistol is at home on the range. It fits my hand like a glove, is very accurate, and mild recoil. This high quality pistol sells for $550.00 if you can find one. The CZ 75 has low profit margins for dealers, so don’t expect discounts. I copied and pasted the spec sheet from CZ’s website and posted an excellent video from You Tube.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
At 5″ tall with a barrel length of just under 4″, the Compact model shaves a little more than 3/4″ off the length and about 1/2″ off the height of the full-size CZ 75. Its reduced size allows it to readily disappear under regular clothing. The CZ 75 DA/SA action with a manual safety lever provides the user with two options for carry: hammer-back with the safety on for single action operation or manually decocked for a double action first shot with no need to remember to take off the safety before firing. Because the 75 Compact retains the steel frame of the original 75, only 2.4 oz of weight is lost, making it the softest-shooting compact in the CZ 75 line.
