Colt 1911 Commander

I reviewed my son’s Colt 1911 Commander and his Beretta Nano. I would not recommend the Nano because the trigger is awful. I have a few Berettas that I really like, but the Nano isn’t on my list to own or ever shoot again. There are quite a few sub-compacts that are excellent.

My son’s Commander is about twenty-five years old. It has a nice trigger, well balanced, but the sights are just like the old Army 1911s. I recommended to my son to change the sights or to put a dab of white paint on the front sight. There are some great 1911s available and I have reviewed several of my 1911s on my website.
