The Caldwell Stable Table is a great shooting accessory especially for older people. There is three basic shooting positions for target shooting with a rifle. (1) The prone position. I am too old for that and have no desire to get in shape to lay on the ground. (2) The standing position. After a few shots standing, I am not steady enough to consistently hit targets. The sitting position. I am in Heaven. I have two Caldwell Stable Tables. One stays on my shooter’s deck year round and, after three years is still in excellent condition. The other one is used for shooting at one hundred yards and cleaning rifles in my Morton Building. I installed locking casters on both so I can wheel the one out of the building and keep the other locked down on the shooting deck. I have the seat adjusted for me and, when I have guests, they can use a one, two, or three inch wooden blocks to adjust the rifle rest. There are several excellent shooter tables available but, for the price, quality, and quick assembly and disassembly, I chose the Caldwell. I have posted videos from You Tube.
