Bighorn Ultimate Access Gun Safe

In case anyone is considering buying a first or an additional safe, I thought I should share my thoughts and my latest safe purchase. There are excellent gun safes available at inexpensive to really expensive safes. My first purchase was a Liberty Fat Boy which is an excellent safe manufactured in America. This is a large safe that I set up for a handgun safe. The next safe was a Sports Afield purchased from Costco. I think the price was around $600.00 with free delivery. This safe was purchased to provide secure rifle storage, but it was too small for a growing collection. Next was another Liberty intermediate size safe. My final safe purchase was the Bighorn. This has to be my last safe or my wife will have me committed. This is one big safe with unbelievable storage. The dimensions are 71″H x 44″ W x 26″ D, and weighs one thousand pounds. I purchased this from Costco for $1,995.00 delivered. If you are buying a first safe, and you have no intention of having a gun collection, buy a small inexpensive safe. If you have the room and you are going to add to your gun collection over a period of time, I think the Bighorn from Costco is the best buy for a large safe. I am posting photos of my safes and I hope this will give anyone interested in buying a safe some idea on the availability of the excellent gun safes that are available.
